For everyday business documents, an electronic signature is recognised in the US under ESIGN and UETA and in the EU and UK under eIDAS — the same law DocuSign relies on. What a dispute turns on is evidence, so we record the ESIGN consent with its IP and timestamp, seal the finished PDF, and hash-chain the audit trail. (A guide, not legal advice.)
Is this a qualified signature (eIDAS QES)?
No, and we would rather say so. Signibility produces a simple electronic signature, which is what almost every commercial contract needs. If your document legally requires a qualified signature — some property, notarial and public-sector work in the EU — you need a qualified trust service provider, and DocuSign sells that as a paid add-on.
How do I migrate my existing templates?
Download your master PDFs from DocuSign and upload them into Signibility. Drag the fields back onto the page and save the layout as a reusable template — five templates on Personal, unlimited on Business.
Do I have to pay extra for an API?
No. API access is part of the Business plan at its listed price. There is no separate API contract to negotiate and no per-call add-on.
What happens if I send a lot of documents in one month?
On Business, nothing — signature requests are unlimited. On Free and Personal you have 3 and 25 a month, and sending pauses when you reach the limit rather than billing you for the overage. You are never charged for a document you did not plan to send.
