A free Signaturely alternative for sending documents to sign
The free plan sends three signature requests a month, not one, and it does not expire. Personal sends 25 for $12.99. Business sends as many as you need. Every plan seals the finished PDF and keeps a hash-chained audit trail, and your signers never need an account.
Why choose Signibility over Signaturely?
Four things we do differently. Where Signaturely is ahead, the table below says so.
A free plan, not a countdown
Signaturely gives you seven days, then one signature request a month. Ours is three a month, no card, no expiry — and signing your own documents never counts against it.
Five times the sends at half the price
Personal is $12.99 a month for 25 signature requests and five reusable templates. Signaturely's Personal is $25 for five requests and one template.
The API is in the plan, not a second subscription
API access is part of Business at $29.99 per user. Signaturely bills its API separately from the plan you already pay for, from $49 a month for 50 API signature requests.
Proof on the free plan too
The PAdES seal and the hash-chained audit trail are on every plan, including Free. Proof of what was signed is not something we think you should have to upgrade for.
Moving over takes an afternoon
Your documents are PDFs and your signers are strangers. Neither of those changes.
Your templates are just PDFs
Download the master file from your old account, upload it here, and drag the fields back where they belong. Nothing to export, no implementation call to book.
- Drag-and-drop field editor
- Save any layout as a reusable template
- Import from Google Drive, Dropbox or your own S3 bucket
Files up to 10 MB on Free, 25 MB on Personal, 50 MB on Business. Templates need a paid plan.
Still no account for your signers
The people you send to are usually clients and candidates who will open the link once. They get the document, sign it, and keep a sealed copy.
- No sign-up, no password, no app
- Works in any browser, on any phone
- Draw, type, or upload a signature
Need more certainty about who signed? Require a one-time code by email or SMS, from Personal up.
The proof rides with the file
A PAdES seal over the finished bytes and a hash-chained audit trail, in the PDF itself. Cancel your subscription and the evidence still checks out.
- Every party gets a link to the sealed copy
- Hash-chained audit certificate in the same download
- Any PDF reader can check the seal, no account needed
The sealed audit trail is on every plan, including Free.
The proof belongs to you, not us
The proof travels with the file, not with your subscription. A PAdES seal over the finished bytes, and a hash-chained audit certificate that downloads beside it — keep the pair anywhere and they still show what was signed. While we hold your documents, every one of them is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
Independent Cryptographic Proof
The file stands on its own, forever, wherever you store it.

Signaturely figures are from their published pricing, API pricing and help-centre pages, checked August 2026; their plans change, so check theirs before you decide. Their free account is not a column on that page: it is described in its FAQ as what follows the seven-day trial, one signature request a month, which is also the figure in their help centre — some of their other pages still say three. Their API plans are billed independently of Personal and Business and start at $49 a month for 50 API signature requests. Prices shown are the monthly rate; both products take 20% off annual billing. Signibility figures are the live plan limits — see pricing. Signaturely is a trademark of its owner. Signibility is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Questions about moving over
What changes, what doesn't, and what it costs.
[email protected]Does Signaturely have a free plan?
Their pricing page sells two plans. Free is where you land after the seven-day trial ends: one signature request a month. Signibility's free plan is three a month, with no card and no expiry, and the documents you sign yourself never count against it.
Do I have to pay extra for an API?
Not here. API access is part of the Business plan at its listed price, with no separate contract and no per-call add-on. Signaturely sells its API as its own subscription, billed independently of Personal and Business, starting at $49 a month for 50 API signature requests.
How do I move my templates across?
Download the master PDFs from Signaturely and upload them into Signibility. Drag the fields back onto the page and save the layout as a reusable template — five on Personal, unlimited on Business.
Is there anything Signaturely does that Signibility doesn't?
Yes. They import from OneDrive and Box as well as Google Drive and Dropbox. We import from Google Drive, Dropbox and your own S3 bucket, so if OneDrive or Box is where your documents live, that is a real difference today rather than a roadmap answer.
Will my documents still hold up?
For everyday business documents, an electronic signature is recognised in the US under ESIGN and UETA and in the EU and UK under eIDAS — the same law Signaturely relies on. What a dispute turns on is evidence, so we record the signer's consent with its IP and timestamp, seal the finished PDF, and hash-chain the audit trail. (A guide, not legal advice.)
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
Sending pauses. On Free and Personal you have 3 and 25 signature requests a month, and reaching the limit stops you rather than billing you for the overage. On Business there is no limit to reach.
